“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” ~ President Barack Obama
You made it! Today marks the final challenge of PGC 2016, and the beginning of your life as an agent of change. Your work has been a tremendous source of inspiration for all of us here at Turning Green. Right in front of us over the past 30 days, you have transitioned from conventional to conscious in your daily lives, and you have inspired your friends, families, schools and communities to join you on this journey. You have become global change makers. The transformation has been extraordinary to watch.
But your quest to change the world is only just beginning. Where will you go from here, and what will you take with you from this experience? For some of you, the next phase will be the PGC Finals. Others may go on to establish Turning Green Chapters (we hope!) on your campuses, or lead the charge to combat the global challenges facing us today. How will you continue to live a conscious life, and what will your role be in healing our planet? These are questions we are asking you to assess as you journey forward.
Before you get started, we want to thank you for your dedication, incredible work, creativity and perseverance over the past month. Thank you for refusing to accept the status quo, for opening yourself to the possibilities that abound for cultivating a healthy and just planet, for being willing to step up to the plate and do something to collectively change our course.
You are our hope, and after this month, we can say with great certainty that our future is bright indeed.
With gratitude,
The TG Team
A Reflection: Pre and & Post PGC
Update: Due on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 6 am PT
Think about yourself pre-PGC, just 30 days ago, and think about who you are today. How has your perception of the world shifted? Are you making different choices? How have you engaged those around you? How have you changed?
We want to assess just how far you have come. On Day 1 you took the PGC Self Evaluation. Now we are asking you to take the PGC Exit Survey to assess the impact that 30 days of new found wisdom can have on an individual, particularly those who are ready to shift the paradigm.
Please upload a PDF document telling us that you’ve completed the survey. Please include your name (or team name), username, email address, and school.
